Today’s Writing Prompt: Throwback

Posted: 05 Sep 2013 01:00 AM PDT

Often on Facebook, I see people with their Throwback Thursday picture. If you could go back and undo a photo that was taken of you, which one would it be and why?
I automatically know my answer to this, and I wish I could destroy every copy of this picture out there.  My yearbook photo from 10th grade was scary.  It was bad enough that I had really short curly hair that looked like an afro, and I had cat eye glasses, but the picture had my eyes looking crossed eyed…and let’s just say that I have never seen a less attractive photo.  Even though a Mom loves her kid regardless, even my Mom wanted me to get a new picture, and did not buy the one I got.  LOL…That is how bad it was! I never redid the photo because I was so embarrassed, so it ended up in the yearbook…which I did not purchase, and not just because I ended up dropping out of that school due to bullying.  😦

Worth the trouble

“He couldn’t see why people made such a fuss about people eating their silly old fruit anyway, but life would be a lot less fun if they didn’t. And there was never an apple, in Adam’s opinion, that wasn’t worth the trouble you got into for eating it.” ~from Good Omens
