Today’s Writing Prompt: ShinePosted: 11 Aug 2013 03:00 AM PDT

Were you just born to shine in one special way? Where do you really stand out? How do you feel about that?

I believe I was born to be creative.  Whether it’s by writing, acting, or singing, I feel like being creative in one or all of those areas is where I was born to shine.  I would love to say I am good in all the areas, but that’s a matter of opinion, I suppose.  I don’t like claiming to be great at something, because it makes me feel like a braggart.  I AM comfortable saying that those are the areas I find the most joy in.  I am just glad others let me express myself in the ways that I love, whether I am just decent at any of them or very talented. 🙂

Worth the trouble

“He couldn’t see why people made such a fuss about people eating their silly old fruit anyway, but life would be a lot less fun if they didn’t. And there was never an apple, in Adam’s opinion, that wasn’t worth the trouble you got into for eating it.” ~from Good Omens
