{August 3, 2013}   Happy Birthday to my Mom!

Today is my Mom’s 70th Birthday, so I just want to use this post to say, “Happy Birthday, Mom!” 🙂

You are the best Mom in the world to me.  You are always there for me, and I know I can always count on you for anything.  I have been so blessed to have a mother like you in my life for almost 30 years, and I pray that you will still be going strong 30 years into the future.  I hope one day when I have kids that I will be even half as great of a Mom as you have been to me.  I lack the words to say just how much you mean to me.  I love you!

Worth the trouble

“He couldn’t see why people made such a fuss about people eating their silly old fruit anyway, but life would be a lot less fun if they didn’t. And there was never an apple, in Adam’s opinion, that wasn’t worth the trouble you got into for eating it.” ~from Good Omens
