To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading? “The Language of Flowers” by Vanessa Diffenbaugh (So far, I LOVE this book and unless things change before the end, I can see this being one of my faves of the year!)

What did you recently finish reading?

“The Portable Obituary: How the Famous, Rich and Powerful really died” by Michael Largo

“When Doctors Don’t Listen: How to avoid misdiagnoses and unnecessary tests” by Leana Wen and Joshua Kosowsky (Must read)

“The Graveyard Book” by Neil Gaiman (This was SO worth squatting down in the juvenile section of the library to find! I loved it so much and highly recommend it!)

“Girl Land” by Caitlin Flanagan

What do you think you’ll read next? I have 5 more library books to read and I’m not sure which one I will read next…Maybe “The Abstinence Teacher” by Tom Perrotta, but we’ll see!

So happy you loved “The Graveyard Book”! I’m both excited and nervous about the prospect of a film!

I think if done right, it would be amazing on film! Just depends on WHO does it.

It was bought by Disney and last I read, Ron Howard will be directing. I’m okay with Ron Howard, but worried about Disney. Originally it was supposed to be animated, now I think they’re leaning towards live action. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see!

Hmmm….yea…I hope they don’t change the morbidity too much to make it kid friendly cause it does have a dark aspect to it and Disney is known for making things a little TOO cheesy.

Worth the trouble

“He couldn’t see why people made such a fuss about people eating their silly old fruit anyway, but life would be a lot less fun if they didn’t. And there was never an apple, in Adam’s opinion, that wasn’t worth the trouble you got into for eating it.” ~from Good Omens
