{March 16, 2013}   Very Inspiring Blogger Award

Thanks to “Ginger” at Confessions of a Preacher’s Daughter for awarding me with this award! It means a lot to me that you thought of me! I greatly appreciate it!

inspiring-blogger-awardThe rules of this award are pretty similar to the others:

1.) Display the award logo on your blog.
2.) Link back to the person who nominated you.
3.) State 7 things about yourself.
4.) Nominate 15 bloggers for this award.
5.) Notify those bloggers of the nomination by linking to one of their specific posts so that they get notified by ping back.

Seven things about me:

  1. You already know I love to read, but you may or may not know that I read Ebooks for Innovative Online Book Tours for free sometimes and do Amazon and Goodreads reviews in exchange 🙂
  2. This award means more to me than other awards just because of the name of it. I think to ever be called Inspiring is such an incredible honor and compliment.
  3. If I’m going to be gone for a long time, I like to take both my Kindle AND a book, that way if I’m using my Kindle and the power runs out, I always have a back up. 🙂
  4. I like to use survey sites when I have time to earn money towards Amazon gift cards. Right now, I am trying to save up the money from gift cards until I have enough to buy the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 16 GB…so I have more room for books.
  5. When I was younger, I use to make mix tapes from my CD’s by playing parts of the music, pausing and then switching cd’s back and forth so that I had my own mixes of several songs in one.
  6. I also made tapes where I recorded myself being a DJ talking and introducing the songs. (I still have some of these tapes)
  7. My husband’s wedding band has “Sharon and Chad Forever” engraved inside.

Inspiring Bloggers I nominate:

  1. Mirth and Motivation
  2. Smile, Kiddo
  3. Knotrune
  4. Barnbees
  5. Should be reading
  6. The Shyness Project
  7. Lafemmeroar
  8. I choose how I will spend the rest of my life
  9. I shall be a toad

I know it said 15 but I’m a rule breaker! 🙂

Congratulations! And thanks for sharing the joy. 🙂

Thanks! And you’re very welcome! 🙂

Thank you Sharon for thinking of me…. It’s been a while since we blogged together and I do hope all is well with you.
I’ve been on a hiatus from fully blogging but will resume soon.

You’re welcome! I’m not as good about reading other blogs as I used to be but I remember your blog as being really inspirational! 🙂

Thank you and I always cherished your sincerity.

Thank you so much, Sharon!

Eek! I didn’t realize how ridiculously late I am on commenting here! I really suck at blogging lately 😛

Re: survey sites – have you tried I don’t know if they have an office near you (there are only 14 nationwide and there are 2 withing public transportation distance from me, so I don’t think they’re that spread out), but they have some studies that you can do online or on the phone. They pay real money if you qualify (it’s not regular . . . I end up qualifying once every 6 months or so). I usually get $150 for the in-person studies (for 2 hours).

Yes, I am a member of Inspired Opinions, though I’m pretty sure there are no offices around here. I have taken surveys about possible phone interviews before and I actually got one not too long ago on my voicemail and just kept forgetting to call back…probably because I hate being on the phone! I really wish they DID have an office close by cause the In person would be better for me!

I totally get you on the phone thing!

I somehow thought you would! 🙂
I just got called today about a research opportunity nearby for this other company and it would have paid $225 on April 24th from 8-6…BUT they were out of spots for unemployed people…and they will only take people with jobs like 9 to 5…NOT people that make their own hours 😦 So saying I sell Jewelry Candles didn’t work…:( I should have lied…LOL..which is wrong, BUT an unemployed person could really use $225!, right?!
I haven’t sold candles in months…a lot of behind the scenes drama!

That sucks about the survey! 😦
