Yesterday, I left a status on FB asking people to let me know what they wanted me to post on my blog. Sadly, no one has responded there yet so I am asking here, too. Sometimes I feel like I’ve run out of good ideas and inspiration for writing; Like every idea that comes up has already been written about before on my blog. I really want to know what, you, my followers want to read about on here. Do you have any topics you’re interested in me posting about? Are there things I have written about before you would like me to write MORE about, maybe? I really hope I get some responses here!

I’ve tried really hard to not have any posts where I talk about not knowing what to write, but isn’t it realistic to do so? I mean, the best writers get Writer’s Block, so why wouldn’t I, a lowly blogger who loves to write, sometimes be at a loss for words? Not that “words” themselves are hard to find because words surround all of us each day, but sometimes you reach up in the air to pluck the right words out and all you get is nonsense that you can’t make heads or tails of. So here I am, at a loss for the “right” words hoping to get a little inspiration or boost for someone else out there. Hopefully, one of my followers will give me just that!

  1. I would give you some suggestions Sharon, but I’m having trouble coming up with ideas for own blog right now! You might try one of those topic generators. I’ve used those before when I’ve had trouble coming up with ideas. 🙂

  2. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with writing about not knowing what to write 🙂

But as for topics, I like using writing prompts for fiction and poetry. The various link-up challenges I’ve been doing have been helping a great deal. I also like to bookmark any news article or blog post that might spark my own thought process. I love Instapaper because I can keep all of that stuff straight without clogging up my bookmarks!
