Welcome to my Spotlight Sunday! Every Sunday I put someONE or someTHING I love IN the Spotlight!

Anyone is welcome to use the idea on their own blog and spotlight whoever or whatever THEY choose, but if you do, please use my lovely graphic that my friend made somewhere in your post to show that the idea came from here! And I would love it if you left the link in my comments, so I could go check out what YOU spotlighted!

Last minute decision on what to spotlight here but due to watching some singing and dancing last night, I have dancing on my mind a lot. I use to dance in a group about 5-6 years ago and now I just dance for fun a little bit. I’m definitely not amazing at it; it’s just something I find fun. I really enjoy watching professional dancers cause I appreciate all the hard work that goes into dance and I think Dancing as an art form is beautiful. So…I have decided to Spotlight Dance today and I will do so by sharing some of my favorite videos of Dancing. Whether you’ve seen any of these videos or not before, I hope you enjoy anyways as I have enjoyed them! 🙂

This first video is from So you think you can Dance? I had never watched the show when I first saw this video and it got me hooked on the show. It’s not only the dancing that makes this so great but the customing as well.

The next video is so much fun because it’s so unique! If you haven’t seen this video of Ok Go’s “Here it goes again”, then this is a definite must watch!

Next, we have a video showcasing the talents of The League of Extraordinary Dancers. You’ll have to watch to see why they so deserve this name.

THIS video had me hooked when I found it years before David Guetta was such a well known name in the U.S.  Some people may not consider Parkour dancing but in this video, it sure works! (You have to wait 40 seconds in for the dancing to start, fyi)

Last, but not least, here’s a performance from the first group to ever win “America’s Best Dance Crew” who first appeared on “America’s Got Talent”, JabberWockeeZ. This is a performance they did for “America’s Got Talent” after they were famous.

Now I will leave you with this beautiful quote about dancing.

“The Dance can reveal everything mysterious that is hidden in music, and it has the additional merit of being human and palpable. Dancing is poetry with arms and legs.” -Charles Baudelaire
