{December 13, 2011}   Making Progress

image

Slowly, but surely I am getting things done. I started yesterday working on my important list and I have completed cleaning my den/computer room, got the decorations out of the closet, almost have my living room done, the tree up sans ornaments and my guest post done and sent in. To some, this may not seem like a lot, but for me, it’s an accomplishment. I still have a good bit to do in the next few days to prepare for the holidays, but it feels really good to look at the progress I have made and know I didn’t let procrastination win.
And in less than 30 minutes, it will be 10 days until Christmas Eve! The day when my oldest sister, 3 of my nieces and my great nephews from Indiana will be here. The excitement of their visit is putting me in one of the best moods ever. 3 of them I haven’t seen since my wedding, 2 1/2 years ago, so this is a long anticipated visit.
I hope everyone is having fun getting ready for the holidays and I wish all of you the happiest of holidays and good health! 🙂

I’m having fun. Done with shopping!!!! Now I’m planning my appetizer menu and scouring the Food Network recipes 🙂 Love the pic of your tree. The whole set up looks sooooo COZY!!!!!!!

Yay…being done with shopping is a huge relief, huh? Those crowds are horrible out there! Glad you like the pic of my tree…I’ll be taking another picture after I hang all the ornaments! 🙂

I used to procrastinate shopping up until Xmas eve and wrapping for hours the same night! I find that I’m so stressed for the party after a full day of shopping that I just needed to do it earlier so I can relax.

Yep! I have done a lot more earlier this year that usual and I’m actually surprised that the only thing I am really procrastinating much on THIS week is my blog…:( Just waiting until late to get it done. I think some days I am getting to where I post JUST to post because I have the daily challenge to complete…which is why I am seriously considering changing up my blogging for 2012…I still want to blog a lot because it’s been good for me…but I want my posts to mean more than just to fill space for the day, you know?

Sounds like you’re going to have a great Christmas!

Yep, I should! If only because of my family that is coming! 🙂

Worth the trouble
