“He couldn’t see why people made such a fuss about people eating their silly old fruit anyway, but life would be a lot less fun if they didn’t. And there was never an apple, in Adam’s opinion, that wasn’t worth the trouble you got into for eating it.” ~from Good Omens

1. Date Pinwheels
2. Polar Express – love the annimation!
3. No… but the year I gave whistles, toot flutes, or kazoos to all kids, some of the mommies were not happy.
4. My bedroom
5. Oh… does hiring a chaffuer service to drive me up to the airport in Cleveland so I could hop a Christmas Eve flight count? Otherwise, just 45 minutes.
Thanks for letting me play!
Never heard of Date Pinwheels…what do they taste like?
Polar Express is a good movie! 🙂
LOL about the whistles….sounds like something my husband would give out to kids!
1. German lebkuchen – so gorgeous! Like soft gingerbread covered in dark chocolate, sometimes with a bit of apricot jam in the middle 🙂 🙂 🙂
2. One of our Dinosaurs is Missing. Always my favourite as a kid, and still makes me laugh. The dinosaur’s head nodding its way through foggy London on the back of the lorry still makes me smile to think of it. I have it on DVD – with Norwegian subtitles, it doesn’t get any better! Maybe I’ll watch it later… if only I had some lebkuchen to eat as I did so…
3. I don’t have kids. I’ve bought stuff for my cat which I wished I hadn’t bothered with when she completely ignored it. Now I give her shiny balls, made of scrunched up silver foil off chocolates. Free and the best cat toy ever, doesn’t matter if it gets lost or stepped on 🙂
4. Definitely my study.
5. Not all that far. Probably 2-3 hours.
Never heard of German Lebkuchen…but it sounds good! Too bad we live so far apart or I would have to make a visit to try some! 🙂
Cats sound a lot like little babies…babies are always more excited about the boxes and paper than the actual toys!
1. What is your favorite Christmas cookie?
All of them! 🙂
2. What’s your favorite holiday movie & why?
Christmas Vacation, Meet Me in St. Louis, White Christmas, A Christmas Story… it’s really hard to choose!
3. Is there a gift that you bought for your kids that you wish you hadn’t after they opened it?
I don’t have kids.
4. What is the messiest room in your house right at this moment?
It’s the same as yours Sharon – and equal opportunity mess! lol
5. What is the furthest you have driven for the holidays?
My friends and I often go to Gatlinberg for New Years, so about thee hours.
OOOO…I forgot White Christmas…that’s a good one too! 🙂 It IS hard to choose, huh?
HAHAHA….Equal Opportunity Mess for all! 🙂
Thanks for joining in! 🙂
