{December 2, 2011}   Five Question Friday for December 2nd,2011

As always, you may answer these questions in your own post or in the comments section!

This 5 Question Friday was brought to you by:

On to the questions!

1. What is your favorite Christmas decoration in your house? I haven’t really done any decorating yet….I think my favorite is this big Christmas teddy bear that plays the drums….just cause I love teddy bears so much!

2. Do you finish your Christmas shopping early or are you a last minute type? I start after Thanksgiving and usually have it done within a few days of Christmas to a week before…so I guess I’m sort of in the middle

3. When do you turn on your heat? It depends…it starts getting cold at different times every year in Texas…I think we turned it on for the first time a couple weeks ago because it was colder at night, but we actually don’t use it much at all in the winter…in fact, we still run the ac quite often..Our Winter electric bill is a lot cheaper than at any other time

4. Do you ever wish your blog was private? There have been a few times where I wanted to talk about certain things and wished it was a private blog just cause some topics I don’t want widely broadcast with my name….BUT for the most part, I like that it’s public….I have close friends and family that love to read my blog because they can keep up to date with my life and feel closer to me through doing so….If I ever did a private blog, I would still keep a public one as well for that reason….

5. Do you put your deodorant on before or after you put on your shirt? I’ve never really considered it before but I do both depending on WHEN I think about it……Mostly, I put it on beforehand, but if I forget to do it before, then I do it after….

1. Candles
2, Both… shop early for other people as some gifts are mailed, then I always loved to go shopping just before Christmas where we can walk from store to store on a nice snowy day (but not snowy enough to make it slippery out) like downtown in a small town.
3. I don’t… landlord controls the heat (it is old fashioned hot water steam radiators)
4. No… but I’ve thought of having a private blog like a journal for just me.
5. Most often after.

Thanks for letting me play!

I hope your landlord keeps the temperature warm enough for you then!
I kind of started THIS blog as a journal, except I knew people could publicly see it…that’s why I called it the REAL Sharon because I was showing what I was really thinking without hiding everything…..but even then, there’s a limit on what I say, if I’m honest, because once you put something out publicly on the world wide web, it’s always going to be there…so I try to be as honest as I can be, but I try to be tactful and avoid disclosing too much information about my friends and family I talk about.

The Christmas tree is the best decoration because you have so many choices for color themes, lights, and ornaments!

I like a decorated tree even though, every year, I threaten to not buy one.. 🙂

I have a fake tree but it’s just a matter of finding a place for it in my apartment when I have family that will probably be staying over during the holidays.
