To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading? “Mennonite in a Little Black Dress” by Rhoda Janzen (What can I say? I just like reading about people from different religions)

What did you recently finish reading? “My Horizontal Life” by Chelsea Handler (The only book I read this past week…it was a slow week for reading with Thanksgiving and everything!)

What do you think you’ll read next? I plan to read “11/22/63” by Stephen King next, but I have a few books I borrowed from one of my nieces I have to return at Christmas time and if my reading stays as slow as it has been this past week, I may have to wait for this over 800 page book!

Giving Thanks Day 30: This is the final day of my Giving Thanks section on my posts, but I fully intend to keep giving thanks for things in my life daily by taking time out of every day to reflect on things I am thankful for. Since this is the last day, I am giving thanks today, for everything in my life, both good AND bad, because it has all made me into who I am today. Without the negatives, I wouldn’t appreciate the positives as much as I do so I am thankful for them both and I am also thankful for everyone who is in my life and helped mold me into the person I am. If you’re a faithful reader of my blog, I want to also say a special Thanks to you because writing in my blog daily has been such a good thing for me and without people who faithfully read and comment, I might not have stuck with it as long as I have and come to realize what writing really means to me. This month has all been about thankfulness and tomorrow starts a month all about Giving. Giving without expecting anything in return. Giving of your time and love, not just of material things. May we all never forget what an importance giving to others is! 🙂

  1. What are you currently reading? I’m currently reading Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen.

What did you recently finish reading? I just finished Sister’s Red by Jackson Pearce. It is a young adult novel about these two sisters, Rosie and Scarlette, that hunt werewolves. It is a retake on the Little Red Riding Hood fairytale.

What do you think you’ll read next? Either The Maze Runner by James Dashner or A Feast for Crows by George RR Martin.

    1. I have never read anything by Jane Austen….isn’t that crazy? I really need to!
That Sister’s Red book sounds interesting, I like books like that. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my blog! 🙂

  2. Well, I’m a day late… and I’m not reading anything. My next will be “Dreaming in English” by Laura Fitzgerald. It is a novel about an girl from Iran who impulsively marries an American. I’ve enjoyed reading your Giving Thanks this month… and thank you for blogging! Reading your blog is a pleasure.
