On to the questions!

1. What movie do you love to quote? I’m not a big movie quoter person so I would have to say there isn’t one….
2. Have you ever ridden a motorcycle? No, and I am NOT a daredevil at all so I doubt I would ever…I have ridden on the back of a four wheeler because my niece Beckah talked me into it and she drove it with me riding on the back, it was just in her grandparent’s yard and up and down this grassy hill close by and it wasn’t TOO fast, but I doubt I would do it again
3. What’s your favorite thing to do on a rainy day? Read and sleep…the sound of the rain is very relaxing and tends to make me sleepy
4. Do you prefer a bunch of small gifts, or one really big, (expensive) gift? Depends on what the BIG gift was….if it was like a brand new car or an all expenses paid vacation, then hey, forget anything else…BUT let’s face it, the odds of ME getting that kind of gift are about 1 in a gazillion so realistically, I would say a bunch of small gifts. There’s just something about having a lot of small gifts that makes you feel like you made off like a bandit…..and I got that saying from my parents, they have always said that at Christmas time when a kid has a bunch of new toys…”Wow, you made off like a bandit!”
5. Do you ever lose track of days and show up somewhere wrong? Not really…I always had a fear of that happening when I was in school and college, though..Like having all your books together for certain classes and showing up, and UHOH, wrong day and wrong class! BUT fortunately, it never actually happened, thank goodness!
Giving Thanks Day 4: I found out yesterday my niece Lydia(who I haven’t seen since my wedding!) AND her new husband are coming to visit a few days after Christmas and I am SO excited! Before, it was supposed to be a hope they would visit sometime next year, so this is just really making me jump up and down happy! So….Today, I am thankful for getting to see them over the holidays as well, as seeing other members of my family I rarely see! Now if only my oldest niece and her two little boys can come in, things will truly be like a dream! I love when things end up working out the way you want them too, especially when it’s completely unexpected! I am SOOOO Thankful for this opportunity to meet my new nephew-in-law? and see my niece again! It has been way too long! Christmas, hurry up and get here! 🙂

Worth the trouble

“He couldn’t see why people made such a fuss about people eating their silly old fruit anyway, but life would be a lot less fun if they didn’t. And there was never an apple, in Adam’s opinion, that wasn’t worth the trouble you got into for eating it.” ~from Good Omens
