Yes, this was a picture that came from my computer and not my own, but it’s a pretty Sunset, isn’t it? ๐
The rest of the pictures are my very own, though!

Picture my husband had in the newspaper last October

Picture of a Sunset back in July
And as an added bonus; Because this theme reminded me of a beautiful song I actually sang once when I was in A.C. Singers, here is the chorus of “Sunrise, Sunset” from Fiddler on the Roof.
Sunrise, sunset (x2),
Swiftly flow the days.
Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers,
Blossoming even as we gaze.
Sunrise, sunset (x2),
Swiftly fly the years,
One season following another,
Laiden with happiness and tears.
Gorgeous shots!

Awesome photos Sharon. The one from July looks like someone painted the sky
I love East Texas Sunsets ๐
These are great pictures and I love the shot of your hubby at the cemetery? ๐
Yep, it was a front page story around Halloween because he is a founder of a paranormal group here called Lufkin Paranormal Investigators! ๐
I think this is my favorite of your photo challenges ๐
YAY! I need to take more pictures of our sunsets around here, though! ๐
Love all of these shots Sharon and the words of the song. Think I shall use them in a post soon. ๐
Go right ahead! That full song is very beautiful…I had to really do some acting when I sang it because the lyrics mention children growing up from a parent’s perspective. I had to think of life going by for me and picture my nieces and nephews growing and what it must feel like to watch your own child grow from a baby to a grown up.
I like your picture below the windows xp best, although the cemetery photo is quite interesting with the rainbow shot at that angle.
That picture was taken at a lake last year before the water went down so much. ๐ฆ
The cemetery photo was a picture for an article about my husband’s paranormal group! ๐
I really like the last photo. It seemed melancholy and beautiful at the same time.
I took it one evening when the sunset was so bright and colorful, I could see it through the window blinds of my bedroom. I grabbed up my phone and I tried to get the best pic I could of it! It was so much more beautiful than my camera showed. ๐
Wow gorgeous pics!
