{September 13, 2011}   10 Songs I Love

I’m doing something a little different today. Here are 10 songs that I love that I wanted to share with you. Not THE favorites of all time, just simply 10 random songs I love. Hope you enjoy! ๐Ÿ™‚

There’s an instrumental part at the beginning you have to wait through, but it’s worth it. Jem has a beautiful voice and this song has such inspiring lyrics.

1) Down to Earth by Jem

This next one is another very inspirational song for me and many others. A huge anthem against bullying.

2) Hero by Superchick

A song from one of my favorite bands. I love how haunting their music is. At first glimpse, it’s possible for one to get the wrong impression of what kind of band they are….but once you listen, you’ll see it’s really NOT about the cover. ๐Ÿ˜‰

3)Goodnight by The Birthday Massacre

Some of you might recognize this song from your childhood. It’s just a fun, silly, feel good song!

4)Forevermore by Katie Herzig

I’ve been addicted to this song since I first heard it on Syfy’s FaceOff where they had zombies dancing to it. Zombies…enough said.

5)Zombie-Natalia Kills

This song rocks because it celebrates the woman form in a way most don’t. Big girl, you ARE beautiful! ๐Ÿ™‚

6)Big girl, you are beautiful-Mika

One of my favorite songs of 2011!

7) Rocketeer by Far East Movement

One of THE best songs lyrically I have ever heard that describes what unrequited love is like.

8) Grenade-Bruno Mars

Still love her music even after all these years since she was the first American Idol winner…and not just cause she is from Texas. This is one of her songs off her first album. Very bluesy R&B feeling song.

9)Trouble with Love-Kelly Clarkson

This last one is actually a compilation of various songs. If you’ve ever heard of the video, “Evolution of Dance”…this is the sequel. Very funny and entertaining!

10)Evolution of Dance 2 by Judson Laipply

I hope you enjoyed the 10 songs I chose to share with you. ๐Ÿ™‚

(I went back and added the names of the song titles and artists for those that read my blog on a phone and might be unable to access the videos.)

Fantastic selections and lots of new music for me to sample. TY Sharon… ๐Ÿ™‚

Hope you find some you like! ๐Ÿ™‚

I love those songs, and guess what, the Evolution of the Dance, HE IS AMAZING, I have seen him before too! TO think you put that one in here freaks me out Sharon. Have a delightful non boring night and week, xo Jackie ~

Cool, you saw him in person? That would be fun to see! ๐Ÿ™‚
I will try to have an eventful week, you have a great one as well! ๐Ÿ˜€

N. Barnes says:

I like the Big Girl song, maybe because it is so colorful and the girls all seem so confident, and the Evolution of Dance is hilarious! Your taste in music is different than mine, but it’s good to sample new things! Thanks for sharing!

I have a very wide taste in music, this just showed a very small area of it. I love a lot of different music. ๐Ÿ™‚
You’re welcome!

The Hook says:

Thanks for introducing me to some new, fun tunes!

You’re welcome! ๐Ÿ™‚
