{August 8, 2011}   Weekly Photo Challenge:Mountains

There are many mountains out there, some the actual physical ones and some are metaphorical mountains that we have to climb. I live in an area where there aren’t even many hills so I can’t just go outside and take pictures of big, beautiful mountains like I see on the Television and since my artistic abilities do not extend to painting or drawing, I can’t draw or paint a mountain for you. I did find a few pictures that I felt qualified that were taken back on my honeymoon and then I made my own “mountain” creatively.

Enjoy!

On the right, you can see tops of "mountains" or hills....

Another view

Would you believe this was about 15 minutes from skyscrapers and big buildings?

And for the last picture, I “aired my dirty laundry”, so to speak. 😉

A mountain of laundry!

That laundry mountain reminds me of the Alps!

HAHAHA! Not quite as difficult to conquer as the Alps, but maybe a close second!

Whoops I was going to comment on your cleaning post but it’s gone now. I was just going to say that I’m not a big fan of cleaning and house work either, even though my mom does most of it. It’d be nice to have magic powers and just cast a spell to clean up the place! Nice picture!

I apologize for that….I meant to schedule that post for the next day, NOT publish it the same day…when I realized I published it, I changed it back to scheduled…:( So sorry about that, it’s back on there now……I will try not to let that happen again!

That last mointain was pretty scary!

Indeed it was…..I should have taken a picture of the mountain of clothes that was my husband’s laundry……but you might have had a stroke!

Lovely! The blanket added another dimension to the task. 🙂

Haha…your comment makes my dirty laundry picture seem so much greater than it was! 🙂

Worth the trouble

“He couldn’t see why people made such a fuss about people eating their silly old fruit anyway, but life would be a lot less fun if they didn’t. And there was never an apple, in Adam’s opinion, that wasn’t worth the trouble you got into for eating it.” ~from Good Omens
