To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading? “The Last Boy” by Robert Lieberman (Very interesting so far…I’m really excited to see what’s going to happen in this book….there’s obviously something “under the surface” to discover in this plot)

What did you recently finish reading? “Stop Laughing at me: A woman’s inspirational story” by Jodee Blanco (Very good book, I recommend it to everyone) I could relate so much to the bullying part but then there were parts I also couldn’t relate to…I was thankfully never put through physical bullying the way she was but it was still very hard. At the beginning, she is bullied mostly for taking up for people and being a good person which is so different than what I experienced. I was ALWAYS picked on for my weight, wearing glasses and having super curly, short hair so I didn’t even have the chance to stand up for anyone else because I was the target myself. Mine also started in Jr. high…In elementary, I was popular BUT did stick up for others and I wasn’t bullied because of that….but it always struck me how ironic that i would start out sticking up for others only to move away and become the target of bullies.

What do you think you’ll read next? I COULD pick up a book from my house and say I am reading that one next…BUT I honestly am not sure which one I WILL read next…so you will just have to find out next week! 🙂

Now I want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my husband…He turns 27 today so he will be the same age as me for a couple months! I love you so much, Chad, and I wish you the best birthday ever! PLEASE leave a Happy Birthday for my husband in the comments, I know he would love that! 🙂

Worth the trouble

“He couldn’t see why people made such a fuss about people eating their silly old fruit anyway, but life would be a lot less fun if they didn’t. And there was never an apple, in Adam’s opinion, that wasn’t worth the trouble you got into for eating it.” ~from Good Omens
