{April 30, 2011}   I was made in the 80’s!

I found this 80’s survey online and thought it looked fun, so I decided to put it on my blog. I love the 80’s!

80s Survey-Must have been born before 1987 !!!!


1. How old were you in 1980?
Not born YET!

2. How old were you in 1989?
I was 6…yea, I was a baby through the 80’s but I still loved them!

3. Were you a Toys R’ Us kid?
Yep, literally!

4. Did you watch Transformers?
Nope…I was a girly girl

5. Did you see E.T. on the big screen?
I think so…I don’t really remember BUT I know I watched E.T. quite a few times as a kid!

6. Did you own a Lite Brite?
Oh yes! I loved it, too!

7. Who is your Favorite Golden Girl?
Rose….she was so dumb that it was adorable! I still watch the re-runs!

8. When someone says ” Who you gonna call? ” You think?
Ghostbusters! My hubby’s fav. old school movie! Definitely going to have to see the 3rd one coming out!

9. What was your favorite toy(S)?
Barbie dolls, Rainbow Brite, Strawberry Shortcake, My little pony…all the girlie ones!

10. Did you have a Pogo Ball?
What’s a pogo ball?…I just know pogo sticks…and no, didn’t have one

11. Did you listen to New Kids on the Block?
Not in the 80’s and not much in the 90’s either….I just barely knew OF them, honestly

12. What New Kid did you have a crush on?
none of them

13. Did you play M.A.S.H?
Yea, I played it in elementary and on up

14. Did you watch The Care Bears?
Oh yes! How could I have forgotten them?! Loved them!

15. Did you have Jelly bracelets?

16. Did you have a charm necklace and/or bracelet?

17. Did you own a glo-worm?
Yes, I did! 🙂

18. Did you ever own a slap bracelet?
Yep and I think I still have one somewhere LOL

19. The Breakfast Club or Sixteen Candles?
Sixteen Candles

20. Did you have a crazy hair style?
No….I had long curly hair that my mom put little bows and barettes in…not really any different than nowadays

21. What was your first bike?
I don’t remember exactly what it looked like but I know it had training wheels and I rode it with the training wheels on long after I should have…LOL…I tried to ride it without and I could never keep my balance…I still can’t ride a bike!

22. Name one thing you still own from your childhood?
I have stuffed animals and dolls and things at my parents

23. Did you have a Cabbage Patch Kid?
I had a couple

24. Did you dress like Madonna?
No, but I loved her music!

25. Rainbow Brite or Strawberry Shortcake?
Rainbow Brite…I loved her hair and costume better!

26. Did you watch Miami Vice?

27. Did you own a pair of Jelly Shoes?
Yep, loved them!

28. Did you own a Trapper Keeper?
Yes (I think I still have one or two!)

29. Atari or Nintendo?
I have played both of them in the past…I prefer Nintendo

30. Did you play Pac-Man?
Of course!

31. Which was better: Jem and The Holograms or Barbie and The Rockers!?

32. He-Man or She-Ra?
She-Ra….girl power!

33. What movie scared you the most?
Nightmare on Elm Street….I would have nightmares of Freddy Krueger with that burned face and long nails!

34. Did you try to dance like Michael Jackson?
Yep! My brother had a tape of his with Thriller on it and I would listen to it over and over and dance…

35. What Is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear “FLUX”?
Marty and Back to the Future

36. What other colors did Pepsi come in? Which is best?
The can or the Pepsi? Cause I know they had a clear Pepsi that was see through….not sure about the cans

37. Roger Rabbit Or Howard The Duck?
Awww…I love both!

38. Did you ever beg your parents to have your school picture taken with the ‘LASER’ background? No…don’t recall that!

39. Do you know what the Ninja Rap is?

40. Do you know why people cringe when they hear the word BUCKNER?
No, I don’t

41. Can you name the family members from National Lampoon’s Vacation movies?
Clark, Ellen, Audrey, Rusty, Aunt Edna (who died). Cousin Eddie

42. Wally World or Europe?
Europe…Wally World might be closed!

43. What was your favorite movie from the 80s?

44. Who never puts Baby in the corner?
Nobody puts Baby in the corner!
