{January 14, 2011}   A Time Machine and a Challenge

I’m doing something different in this post….kind of a way for people to get to know me better just in case someone who is not as close to me wanders onto my blog….which would be cool cause I would love to hear input on my blogs! 🙂

The topic for the day through The Daily Post was: If you had a time machine that only let you spend one hour in a different time, what date would you go to?

I’m going to answer with the absolute first answer that came to my mind…I feel like the first thing that comes to one’s mind is the most genuine and true thing so rather than spending lots of time contemplating all the answers I could give, I will give you THAT answer. I would go to a time where my great grandma and great grandpa(on my grandpa’s side) were still alive so that I could meet them….All my siblings got to meet them, even for just a bit, and I would have really loved to have got to actually KNOW them instead of just hear about them and see their pictures.

The Challenge for today on the Challenge-a-day post was Challenge #14, January 14, 2011: Tonight, tell someone how much you appreciate them.

Hmmm…Tell someONE? As in…just ONE?…That is hard for me because I appreciate so many people even though I may never tell them that. Since this is a blog, I think it would only be fitting to focus on appreciating someone who has made me feel like I DO have a talent for writing when I really focus on it and that in turn has led me indirectly to doing my challenge of posting everyday. Allison Maxwell is her name and I appreciate her for caring so much about me to give me such great words of encouragement when I need them and making me feel like someone truly has my back. So thank you, Allison and whoever has a Facebook account should add her group, allison’s affirmations. Her daily words of wisdom are great for helping you through your day.

In closing, I love you to all my friends and family! You guys are great!

Worth the trouble

“He couldn’t see why people made such a fuss about people eating their silly old fruit anyway, but life would be a lot less fun if they didn’t. And there was never an apple, in Adam’s opinion, that wasn’t worth the trouble you got into for eating it.” ~from Good Omens
